"The printer's not working again!"

It's a familiar cry, in one form or another, in every office that uses computers. Followed closely by, "Why does it keep doing that?" and, "Does anyone know how to..."

Often the person to the rescue is not a specialist but another employee who just happens to know a bit more about IT than their co-workers and so has become the informal "techie" for the entire office.

Every printer jam, virus infection, email error and lost file becomes a major disruption to their working day. The money saved by lack of spending on ICT support and training suddenly dwindles in comparison to the wasted time and lost work.

"Time is money" may be a cliché but it's one that holds true in the world of computing and investment in efficient technical support and quality training is an essential ingredient.

Consider the increase in productivity if every ten minutes spent figuring out how to insert a table into Microsoft Word was spent inputting the data instead. Or a virus infection that was cleaned in minutes instead of hours because everyone understood the importance of to correctly using and keeping their antivirus software up to date...

See our Support Section for details on how Swansea ITeC can supply technical training or support contracts to keep your business running smoothly.
