Swansea ITeC Limited is an approved business partner of Promethean A/V Limited for the Supply, Installation and Training of Promethean Interactive products.

This means a commitment from all Swansea ITeC staff involved in the marketing, installation, support and training to meet the standards laid down by Promethean Limited.

Since 2002 when the Welsh Assembly Government provided at least 1 board/projector to schools, Swansea ITeC has supplied, installed and supported over 250 Interactive whiteboards and projectors to many of the 92 Primary and 16 Secondary schools within the City and County of Swansea, as well as community centres.

We can install a ceiling mounted projector in most buildings. We use the industry standard UNICOL mounting brackets for all projectors installations, and this enables us to install in some of the more demanding schools with 6 metre plus ceilings.

Swansea ITeC offers training in the use and best practice of the Interactive Whiteboard, provided both on-site and at our premises in Swansea.

In cases where we have installed Promethean Interactive Whiteboards, we can provide training to enable your school to become an Accredited Promethean Centre of Excellence.

We have trainers who can deliver training in the use of several whiteboard manufactures software, such as:

• Smart board
• Hitachi
• Poly Vision

Another popular service that Swansea ITeC offer is a Preventative Maintenance Service for Projectors and Interactive Whiteboards. The service includes:

• Filter Cleaning - Removal, cleaning and re-fitting of projector filters
• Lamp Replacement - Does not include cost of lamp.
• Board Cleaning - A surface clean is carried out, suitable to board type.
• General Inspection - Cabling connections, a summary report is provide for any observations/recommendations.
