The course gives a broad grounding in the nature and scope of project management practices and provides an understanding of techniques and methods.

It shows how successful project management can improve individual efficiency and effectiveness.

Who should attend?

Anyone who has not been involved in a project before and who will be using MS Project to track project tasks. There will also be an overview of what else Project can do.

  • Identify the roles people play in project management
  • Create a project using a Gantt chart
  • Schedule tasks based on their dependencies
  • Create constraints and deadlines
  • View the critical path and slack
  • Track the project so that delayed tasks can be rescheduled

Course Duration:

Courses have a duration of 1 or 2 days.

Prerequisites:

" I have attended other courses in a similar vein and none has generated the ability to take the information and apply it back to the workplace as I expect this to. "
