Beginners Please!

Intensive introduction to IT (with a qualification) for those who are wary about computers, slightly scared or downright terrified.

We are here to help!

Course Overview

  • Week 1 - Introduction to IT, the Keyboard, Mouse and MS Word - How to switch on your computer, start it up and get going.
  • Week 2 - Introduction to the Internet - What is it? What are Search Engines, browsers and ISPs?
  • Week 3 - Introduction to Email - What is an email? How to create an email account and then start sending emails to all those friends around the globe......
  • Week 4 - Introduction to File Management - What are files? Learn how to manage files on your computer.
  • Week 5 - Revision for Tests - Simple on line Tests to get your E-Citizen Qualification. (Tests and qualification not compulsory)

Length of Course: 1 day per week over 5 weeks

Cost of Course: £300 including VAT, lunch, refreshments etc.

Maximum of 8 on the course - first come first served basis.
